So we came home from Utah, did laundry and three days later packed our bags again!
First stop, Grandma's to drop off the four kids for the next few days.
Thursday Jeff and I got to go on a MUCH needed vacation.. alone, together with no children! :)
Our destination for the next few days....
Palm Springs.
The nicest place we've ever been to, that's for sure.
Hammocks all over the place. Two pools, one for families and one just for adults. It was HOT but hanging by the pool, walking the mall, seeing a movie, eating out.. we weren't in the hot sun too long.

When the resort found out we were there for our anniversary, every night they left a vase of rose buds and chocolate covered strawberries! Awesome

We had such a great time being together, doing whatever we wanted, eating whatever we wanted and missing the kids of course.... Really didn't want to come back, it was so nice to run away and forget about the "stuff" at home.
Thank you to my mom for watching and playing with the kids while we were gone.
