All the years that we've gone to Utah we've never taken the kids to Temple Square. Now that they are older and appreciate some things more, it was time to go. So, Tuesday was the day! We had the best time!
We were even able to take a tour of the new Conference Center. Which actually isn't so new, 10 years old.
WOW! What an amazing building. We went to the different floors (even the parking garage since our tour guide pushed the wrong button, but her age of about 85 gave her good reason..)
The kids were amazed to be in the place where we always see it on t.v. The seats... hmm comfy!!
The roof itself was pretty amazing. Our visit outside had to be quick because there was lightening in the area. There are trees growing on top of that building and fountains and a meadow!
The coolest adults around! :)
Aimilee, Jeff, Me, Mom, Dean, Roy
It wouldn't have been fun without them!
The Tabernacle where conference was held before the Conference Center was built.. Those seats, not very comfy!
The gang, minus Rilynn, on the Temple stairs

It was a great day.. the weather was great, the company was awesome and the surroundings amazing!
We ended the day with dinner at Wendy's! Then it was boys (dad's) with kids to finish off the fireworks from the night before while the girls (mom's) went and saw Harry Potter!
Yes, a great day!

Sounds like a blast. Our kids enjoyed our Temple Square day too. We started with the church history museum and probably spent at least 2 hours in there! It was fun to see how the kids loved it all.
Beautiful! You are making me homesick for SLC!
All those different group shots are awesome. The one where you really are apart of the wall, well that takes the cake!
