Sorry for the long pause between posts... I just HAD to go on a little getaway with the hubby and just HAD to have a blast and HAD to relax. (and really not want to come back to life...)
So where was I? Oh, yes... day three. We drove some more! Saturday morning we woke up at my sisters house in Rexburg, Idaho and headed back to Utah. With my sister and niece.. YAH!
That day we saw all the cousins and just had fun playing at Grandma and Grandpas house.
Day Four... the day of rest! Whoohoo!!
Day Five... Pioneer Day and in the state of Utah it's a holiday with parades and do it yourself fireworks! :)
First off for the morning was a trip to Cabela's! The "MALL" for men! :) Alright I like it as well. We saw fish, stuffed animals and lots of good things- that Jeff really would have loved to take home with him.
Our kids at the shooting range.

Then it was back to Grandma's to raid her freezer for ice cream and pack up for our family reunion at the park to celebrate Pioneer day.
The two besties, homies, crazies, whatever you want to call them.. peanut butter and jelly.. they are never apart! :)

Grandma and Grandpa with their new missionary. Jake left for the MTC that week while we were there. He'll be at the MTC for three months and then heading to Budapest, Hungry. So excited for him and grateful for his example to the "someday" missionaries in the family.
Most of the grandkids and great-grandkids. It was hard to get everyone to stand still and all smile at the same time-- you get the point.
As soon as it got dark (and started to rain, not cool) we started some fireworks... "some"... more like all of this......
