Our favorite pumpkin patch had alot of damage in the big fire we had up here. Lombardi Ranch was a fun place to go and get our pumpkins. Westley was supposed to have gone yesterday for a field trip, so we're hoping that we will still be able to go this year. Everything burned except the pumpkins! We would love it if they reopened.

Just an update from the Lombardi family:
There was alot of damage @ Lombardi Ranch during the recent fire. The great news is that everybody got out safely, including the animals and nobody was hurt.
The even better news is that we are going to reopen the stand by this weekend and probably as early as tomorrow. The reopening will be small scale with pumpkin and produce sales as well as a train ride. For safety concerns most of the ranch will be off limits, but we will be open.
awww...how sad. :-( Might be time to start a new tradition? Are the kids back in school?
ps..that chicken tortilla soup was FANTASTIC!

We love Lombardi ranch! We always took the kids there every year to pick out pumpkins and take cute pictures, too. We haven't been able to find anything as good up here yet.
