Friday the Fourth

TWO days ago we had lots of fun for the fourth of July. It was a great day staying close to home and having family come visit. My mom, sister- Melinda, her little girl Sammy and my sisters boyfriend Jarrod came up for the day. They decided to come visit for the fourth and bring the food-- no way was I going to say no to that! The crazy cousins together
Westley, Addison, Sydney, Morgan and Sammy

Sammy loved meeting Sydney for the first time!

My contribution to the dinner! Tasty!

The kids entertained themselves the whole day. Here they are having a little tea party in the backyard. Yes, that's my son joining in the fun! Later they had fun running through the hose to cool off.

We were deciding where to go for fireworks since Magic Mountain wasn't doing them this year, due to it being so dry. We went and sat on the grass in front of Jeff's office and watched the cities fireworks. It was fun-- alittle far awhile but you can tell the kids had a blast, and that's all that counts!

Yes Carrie-- Lots of cool whip. Starting from the bottom-- Blue jello, layer of cool whip(as much as you want) a layer of pound cake, cut into bite size pieces, a layer of sliced strawberries, layer of cool whip, layer of red jello and cool whip on top!
