The Past Nine Days

My last post was about grandma. The night she died Jeff left to drive to Arkansas with his parents. I'm glad he went. He's glad he went, but it was a long time!   While he was gone we still did our daily activities. 

Getting Westley to mow has been easier since we got a new mower.  One that pretty much pushes itself. 

Wednesdays and Sydney don't get along very well. Not sure why though.  They have computer lab at school, not her favorite thing which is weird because she's always on the computer at home. I think she thinks she will have to take a test!? 

Westley came home from scouts Wednesday night with a ripped uniform. Boys!!  Mom took care of it. 

Thursday was a bit crazy too. Addison had hockey practice at 5:50 to 6:30pm(in Burbank...and no I don't let him drive there himself) and Morgan and Westley had volleyball at 7pm!  They got a ride but Sydney had to come with me to hockey practice. We enjoyed dinner in the car and after practice we took Addison to volleyball and stayed to watch the kids play. 

Saturday Westley had a game at 2pm. Just him and I went. There was too much time between games to stay down there like we usually do. He played great but they lost. We came home and did chores, mowed, weeds, laundry, cleaning out garage so we can get new garage doors, then drove back to Burbank for Addison's 7:00 pm game. He also played great but lost in overtime. A stressful game....didn't end well with the other teams goalie saying he got hurt on the last goal(Addison's team would have won) so they called the goal back... Started play again and the other team scored!!  Goalie was jumping for joy-- then went on and played another game--- ya so hurt!  

Sunday is busy now with my new calling as relief society secretary. So much to think about and make sure it gets done.... while I'm doing my other calling of playing piano in relief society and thinking of my other calling as food storage specialist. 

Sydney wanted to me to take a picture to send to daddy. She thinks she's so cool because she can text now. Hilarious!  And takes forever. 

So glad Jeff is home. We missed him a ton.
