What our wise men have been up to

So I'm not really a fan of the Elf on the shelf idea. Thought I would go with something that went along with the reason we celebrate Christmas.

Our three wise men have been on quite a journey trying to find baby Jesus.

The first night we found them reading a book (a book about themselves actually. Ha)

Needed a bit of chocolate to keep them going on their journey.

Hmmm not sure this is an approiate activity on our search for baby Jesus....

Checking some things on the internet-- weather, traffic, stock....

And lasts night they stopped and roasted some marshmallows. 

Sydney (and especially Westley) love getting up and finding what the wise men have been up too. Only nine more days!!!!  Eek

Other things going on around here?  A friend of mine was looking for mistletoe. Got it!!!  And now it's out of my tree--- for now. 

Sydney got to go to a pancake breakfast last Thursday morning right after school started because she reached 100% of her reading goal. On Friday she received a medal because she reached 150% of her reading goal!  Way to go Sydney!!!

Friday was also my birthday. Jeff had the day off so after Sydney's assembly we went shopping, lunch at cafe rio, some more shopping, I  got a nap after the kids got home and then we went to the movies!  It was a great day!

Sunday we did our tradition of going to look at lights. 

Big kids have two more days of school, Sydney has three but we will see if she goes...  Addison has finals this week. Christmas is almost here!!!  Yea!
