Thanksgiving day started early for us. No way was I going to drive on Wednesday night with the rest of the crazies-- Jeff had already left Monday, Addison had already left Tuesday night. Got the kids up and we were out by 7:45am. No traffic whatsoever!
We stopped at my moms house for a few hours before heading to Jeff's parents house to have dinner. My cousins were there and had been surfing for a few days. They even stopped and picked up Addison to join them. He loved having some surf lessons.
