What a week!!

So, after the big game last weekend the team went to get slurpees. The coach had bribed one of the boys that if he pulled six flags in one game he would buy them all slurpees. The kid pulled those six flags in one half!  Ha--it was awesome!!

Sunday night we had Young Women in Excellence. I love working in the young women's being second counselor. I get to be over the beehives (the two we have)and their fantastic advisor. I love working with all these amazing ladies. It was a great night honoring our girls. 

Wednesday was Westleys birthday. Having a birthday on a school day is just the pits.  After school and homework he opened his presents and then he and I went and meet Jeff at Johnny Rockets for dinner--  his choice. 

After dinner we went and picked out his birthday present from mom and dad. He needed a new bike---  one that hasn't been handed down from big brother. He loves it---

Saturday morning we had a little birthday party for him and invited the boys from his primary class. We had a game of flag football (of course) at the school. 

Opened presents, had pizza and cake and ice cream and called it good!  I think the boys had fun. 

Soon as that was done we said goodbye to the older kids who were going to the temple and we went to Westleys football party.  It's all about Westley this week. 

He had a great season. His coach said that Westley is the reason he loves coaching. He would get knocked down every practice and jump right back up with a smile on his face. They nicknamed him Rudy--  of course Westley didn't know who that was so we had to rent the movie. It was sad to say goodbye to his new friends. Westley wants to play again next year....  But now the boys are talking about playing roller hockey!  Yikes

After all the parties we ended the night with a trip to sams club. Whohoo!!  Where Sydney had to sit in all the waters and say she was the queen.
