This Is how our holiday started....

Sydney named our car Budgie(??) Poor Budgie!  Got rear ended but thankfully still drive able!  Oh, and we are all safe, funny how people only ask if the other person had insurance instead of asking if you are okay!  Did he have insurance?  Not at the time!  But, we do and found out today that the actual owner of the big van does have insurance.  People!!  Get insurance!!!  It could have been worse and I try not to dwell on that!  Been living in LA for 12 years--- bound to happen sometime!  It is what it is!  ;)

Oh, and you don't rear end a CHP officer and expect to get off easy!  After things were taking care of by a CHP officer and a police report was taken we headed down to Carlsbad!  We had a great time--  so nice to get away from the heat!  Pretty interesting going to the beach and having to put boogie boards and such through the car to the trunk since we couldn't open it!  But we made it work!

Saw awesome fireworks right out the backyard and pretty much chilled in the pool the whole weekend! Even got to visit with our cousins and my sisters.  Thanks mom for letting us join you!
