Sydney is always a little timid to begin....
Then she takes off.
After her hunt was done with nursery kids and her sunbeam class we went over to see how the big kids were doing. Morgan likes to go for the ones up in the trees.

This is Sydney and her friend Steven. She wouldn't get close for this picture--little stinker.
Morgan's LAST year of doing the Primary Easter Egg hunt. This time next year she will be in Young Womens and will get to help hide the eggs instead.
Ah, here we go. I kept asking her to get closer and closer, this is as close as she's going to get.
Last years party we were wearing shorts and had blue sky and sun. This year it was cold and wet. Didn't help that the sprinklers had just turned on before we got there either. Sydney probably would have liked a pair of tongs to help pick up her eggs. But, wet shoes and socks are okay for a basket of eggs full of candy!

YOUNG WOMENS???? OH man! That is so crazy! So sad I (I mean we) missed the hunt! Looks like fun! LOVE Sydneys' coat!! That Steven is a cutie!
Morgan will be able to hide some secret eggs just for Syndey next year...in a dry spot if needed!
