I forgot to post about our weekend away last weekend. Veterans Day weekend the kids and Jeff had four days off. So, Sunday after church we loaded up the car and drove to Big Bear for a few days. It was pretty chilly and we had to go shopping for some warm clothes for Sydney but we had fun and it was nice to get away.

It didn't snow but it would have if we had clouds. One morning we woke up and it was 26 degrees outside and the water bottles in the car were frozen! We took a walk down to the store to get some ice cream- yah, we weren't cold enough! We came home Tuesday and that night we got a babysitter and went out to dinner! (needed a break from the kids!) Then it was all about getting things ready for Westley's birthday party--read below!!

Wow! How fun! We only got Tuesday off and it was strange to have a day off in the middle of the week. We didn't do anything exciting. Just got the kids pictures taken at Target.
How exciting - we can't wait for family vacations like this!!! And then yes, the much needed break upon our return :) YOu guys are so smart!
