Instead of doing a day by day because who has a memory from two weeks ago? So our spring break in one post.
Before we left for Utah we needed to get some things working--like the stinkin sprinklers!! That was more trouble than anything. The tree in our front yard really needs to go because it's messing with the sprinklers and wall. Took Jeff almost all day to fix this one sprinkler!
Dog went to the kennel for the week. Westley had his playoff game for hockey in the afternoon--which he won so we then knew we would be back from Utah by the next Saturday. So, we didn't get on the road till 7pm Saturday night.
We listened to the priesthood session of conference while we drove to St. George. We stayed in a hotel and Sunday drove the rest of the way to American Fork. Best time to drive through Utah?? General Conference Sunday!! Nobody on the road and conference is playing on the radio! Got to my grandmas in time to watch the second session. First few days it was pretty chilly.
But by Wednesday when we drove to Salt Lake it was beautiful! Springtime in Utah is amazing. Flowers everywhere and all the trees are in bloom. (haha it snowed the day after we left..)
Especially temple square!
Kiddos with their Great-Grandma
We had a game night at my uncles house. And then another night to celebrate some birthdays.
Kids hanging out with Harrison
Tuesday and Thursday the boys and Morgan went hunting for jack rabbits. (I wanted to take her shopping) they had fun and Morgan did better than the boys.
Of course our trip was too fast. We saw friends, ate out, went shopping, shot bows and arrows, climbed a tree house, and saw family!!
Friday morning we packed up and drove all the way home. I was so glad we got to make this quick trip.
