We started the summer with doctors visits to get them out of the way. Had to get the boys scout camp physicals done. Then it was the dentist for all four kids-- no cavities. Then I went-- Geesh go to the dentist every six months!!!!!

Morgan has been practicing with her new bow she got for having all As all year long.
Morgan had a blast at girls camp this year. While she was gone I took these two to chuck e cheese. It was a good day-- so nice they can go off together. Three tokens and then have to come back and check in to get three more.
Sydney did not like having her sister gone for the week.....
The boys have been dying to try out the roller hockey place in Burbank. Finally was able to get them down there. They had so much fun. Going to sign them up this fall.
Our first grunion run. One Saturday night we drove to Manhattan Beach at 10:30 pm to catch fish as they came ashore. Hilarious to watch. You still have to have a fishing license or be under age-- Addison and I watched and had a great laugh of everyone trying to catch the slimy fish! We got home at 1:30am. Church was early but everyone showered and we were there on time! Naps later of course

Morgan has always had this one pegged tooth and ortho said the dentist needed to make it normal. So, to the dentist to see if they could do it- to the ortho to take wire and bracket off- to the dentist to have them fix the tooth-- to the ortho to get wire and bracket on. I'm DONE with the dentist( after I go back on Monday ugh)
Jeff had the 4th of July off. Addison did not... As soon as he was done at 6pm we loaded up the car and drove down to my moms in Carlsbad. We were a bit worried about traffic but it was the best drive ever!! We stopped at Del taco for dinner(not your traditional 4th of July meal) and then timed it just right to see the fireworks in Oceanside while we drove by on the freeway.
Had to go night swimming as soon as we got there and had glow sticks to make it better. Saturday we went to the beach with everyone else in Carlsbad. We stayed a bit and then just hung around the pool the rest of the day.
Monday we had to do a big sams club run. Kids home= sams club once a week!!!
The boys leave for scout camp on Monday. Addison will be the junior assistant scoutmaster while he's there-- pretty cool.
So, just the girls and I for the next week. Still figuring out things to do. More of this for sure! Love reading!
Wednesday took the van in for an oil change which took two hours!! Don't go during lunch time. Found out we need new tires and new battery and it needed to be smoged before the end of July so I could pay for registration-- oh and it has two recalls on it I need to get taken care of! Ahhh. Most annoying! Jeff replaced the battery and had it smoged and registrations been paid-- phew. Wanted that done before he leaves for a week!
