It's finally here. The long awaited PINEWOOD DERBY!! It's been weeks since we've had the car--just a block of wood. With lots of hard work, lots of sanding and painting and getting the weight just right, it's finished and ready to race. The cub scouter is ready and very excited. He knows that his car is going to be awsome and win. But, still gets the pep talk about not always winning. I know mom!!ON YOUR MARK-- GET SET---GO!!

Addison was so excited that he won his FIRST pinewood derby. Has the trophy already displayed in his room. (I think his dad was alittle excited as well!) Me-- I'm glad it's over!

We still have our Pinewood Derby Scion car - our kids love to play with it!
That is so exciting! If he had not won you would have had one sad boy on your hands (speaking from experieence)

Addison did most of the work so I think he was most excited! But... Jeff never did win the Elders Quorum pinewood derby....
yay for Addison!!... as for Jeff's race... maybe Addison should make his car for him next time :)
