Beach Days!

 We've been to the beach twice this summer!  Whohoo... (and pathetic, I know)  just two times.  And both times, it's been freezing!  We don't like going to the beach when it's cold.  The Saturday before the boys left for scout camp we went as a family.  The sun didn't come out till 3pm but we did still have fun.  Well, everyone did but Addison because the waves were crashing too close to shore so he couldn't skim board.  Plus, there were too many people... nothing was right for the teenager that day.

 Three days after our first trip and after sending the boys off to scout camp we went again.  This time we met our cousins there.  At this beach the sun was actually out but the wind was blowing so bad!  I had a sweatshirt on all day.  The kids still had fun and it was fun being with our family we never see.

 My niece Taylor as a mermaid.... seashells are a little off!  :)

 We didn't want to drive home in traffic so we hung out in the back of the truck for awhile.

We of course will be going back to the beach this summer. Next time though we will be heading north where it's always been warm and not windy and no traffic!
